Last weekend, I went home to visit my family because I haven’t seen them in awhile. As I was talking with my mom, I told her about this project and she was really impressed with the website. Since she liked what she saw, I was inspired to make something out of my dad’s clothes for her; she declined =\. However, she and my dad allowed me to borrow his clothes so someone else can model it!
Here are the clothes that I have borrowed from my dad’s closet:
When I first saw the vest, I thought, “Eww, I can’t believe my dad wore this!”. I chose it anyway because I really wanted to make it work and plus, it went well with the dress shirt.
I would now like to show you what I have put together from these two pieces of clothing, but before I do, I’d like you all to meet your newest closet raider and my model, Nisha!!!

I wasn’t quite sure where I was going with this look, but after putting it together, I was really happy with the finished product.
Nisha completed this outfit by wearing black leggings from Forever 21 and brown “pleather” boots from Nu Pair (awesome shoe store in Milpitas!!!). These two places are both very affordable and carry very cute items =]. If you have read our past entries, you’ll notice that Jessica makes frequent references to Forever 21 (especially with “fab finds”).

I really liked how this outfit turned out! All I did was have Nisha switch out the vest so she wore the dress shirt on top and change from boots to black heels (purchased from PayLess ShoeSource). I then added a men’s belt to finish it off!
