After strolling through the women section at Goodwill of Silicon Valley looking for skirts and blazers for my new job – I gave up. So, I just moseyed along to the mens section – waiting for an inspiration. Once I found the perfect fabric, I did. Cupid struck his arrow when I came across this – a gray Calvin Klein 100% Cotton (European Fabric) dress shirt. And I grabbed it head over to the mirror with Agnes and bossed her to stand still so I can try this on her. And I made a bow skirt in different ways – tied it to the back and tied it to the front. I was semi satisfied so I bought the $5 boy shirt. It wasn’t until I came home until I finally found a “YES!” satisfaction. I made an asymmetrical bowed button up skirt.

You can have the bow tie in the center, on the side, or the back! Play with it and discover what you like! I wore the dress shirt/asymmetrical bowed button up skirt with the bf v-neck t-shirt and some necklaces. Not bad, eh? Surprisingly fem-ish! And it’s not bad for your business attire; as you may know business skirts are quite the wallet chompers, but if you get creative you can come up with something edgy, cute & inexpensive.

Go raid & create, ladies

Hi Priscian!
What kind of dress shirt are you using? The one I used for this cutey was a very light weight fabric x-large dress shirt. Is yours a heavier fabric?
