Now, I don’t watch MTV on a regular basis (Fantasy Factory and True Life docs are the exception), but the MTV Video Music Awards is definitely an event I highly anticipate. I watch this show in its entirety for three reasons:
1.) What everyone wears. (Taylor Swift’s dress was absolutely beautiful…Lady Gaga??! Did anyone see her!?!)
2.) The performances. (Michael Jackson’s tribute, Beyonce’s single ladies, Jay Z and Alicia Keys’ collabo = AWESOME!)
3.) The CRAZY mishaps in between! (ahem ahem Kanye West, Taylor Swift, and Beyonce…man that was crazy!)
However, last night I decided to focus more on what the boys were wearing to get more ideas on what I could do for my next projects. Not only were they sharp looking and extremely handsome, but I also wanted to find things just like it so I could add it to my boy clothes collection 
. I’m not sure if you all will agree with me, but these are my favorite boys from the VMAs:
Russell Brand:
One of my favorite outfits Russell Brand wore was during the opening act when he sported a top hat, a graphic tee, and a black vest (similar the picture on the left). He wore the top hat so well that it made me want one for myself!!! Oh, and judging by his clothes on the right, I’m sure you could find it in your very own closet–purple scarf, glittery cardigan, and all.
Chace Crawford:
All I know is that he’s from Gossip Girl and he’s…pretty hot. Especially with that shirt slightly unbuttoned mmmmhmmm 
. His outfit also proves that boys look the best when they wear it simple.
(…and speaking of simplicity, I believe Jess has a few things to say so stay tuned for her entry!).
Ne-Yo:
Since many of you agreed with us when we said Ne-Yo had great style, I had to feature him in this entry. Wearing black from head-to-toe, Ne-Yo looked really clean cut for the VMAs.
Adam Brody:
I’ll be frank…Adam Brody wins!!!
He was my favorite from last night because of his outfit was classic and very GQ-esque. I like the necktie too!!!
