So, remember that wonderful off the shoulder top I made from my boyfriend’s brown graphic tee? well, I finally found enough courage to rip it apart. (I really liked the shirt! maybe it’s because I’m a Leo and I loved the lion on it… but whatever back to the project) So to really taper the sides without using a sewing machine, I used this weaving technique that this makeup artist in San Francisco uses on her shirts. I loved the way the back turned out! it’s definitely different and it makes such a statement, I lovesss it!

I turned the shirt into a halter top, and weaved the back as many times as I could to tighten it
Since I can’t explain it, I’ll have to make a video! I came up with a new idea using another shirt I have, so stay tuned!!

Was it Risa’s video?! That looks awesome though. Kudos!
yeah! I’ve actually seen her in SF wearing those kinds of shirts and I thought she bought it like that, and when I saw her video I was like Whoa!! I had to do a top like that!
