I call it tube pants. Yes, tube top + pants = tube pants whaaa… Yah, you have to say it like that, tube pants whaaa. hahaha. Just for the sake of this blogging purposes only. It might be taken already somewhere out there, or I don’t know….But anyways….
Okay, this tutorial may look and sound really complicated, but trust me… it is not. It seriously just took me half an hour or less to do this. I had my boyfriends old jeans and tore it apart to make me some new dress tube top. Yay!
First what you have to do is size it up from where you want your tube pants to fall. I decided that I would like mine to be just right under my badonk-a-donk:
When you are decided where you want it, cut it:
After that, cut the both leg pants just like this:
When you’re done, take the zipper side of the pants and fold it so that it will look like you made it into a skirt. The back pocket and side pockets are together in one side, and so as the other.
This is how it looks inside out:
NOW….get your handy dandy sewing machine or needle and threads whichever you’re comfortable on doing your project. I am more efficient using Mr. Jose Pedro (I call my sewing machine) to do this project.
On the “zipper” inside out of your pants, sew a straight stitch:
……Flip it inside out and try it on… Now, maybe you’re wondering why I only sew one side not the other side, well because if you do, it will be harder for you to fit in it, alone just to wear it, so I left it unstitched. Oh and maybe you’re wondering if I will sew the bottom part of the jeans? I like mine a bit ragged at the edge after laundering it. I like the hanging threads here and there, but if you like to close it, go ahead and do it. It’s all up to you honey. 
If the pants is kinda big on you, put on a belt or something cute to finish the look. This is how it looks like from the back and front view:
