This season’s new trend? Drumroll please!…………..

Givency

Defined Shoulders! Shoulder pads and embellishments on the shoulder are the latest craze this fall. Shoulder pads or embellishments give the effect of a broad shoulder, and while that can look a bit masculine—the trend actually allows for a more feminine silhouette. The defined shoulder on a blazer, sweater or dress with a tapered waist creates such a structured piece!

Although the look can be regarded as angular or strong it’s still fabulous nonetheless, and If the shoulder pads are too trendy for your taste, even a tiny puffed sleeve or an adornment on the shoulder would suffice. Any exaggerated shoulder follows the trend and makes a statement.

These two blazers are from Top Shop and are a great example of a wearable version of defined shoulders.

Plus, if a fabulous Spice Girl and Beyonce can wear the trend, we can at least try :)
