As I performed my weekly routine of with a Sunday episode of Desperate Housewives right when the clock hits 9pm, I gasped in an “edge-of -the-seat” excitement when I saw Lynette Scavo (the diligent & smarter one of the 4 wives) wearing her husband’s clothes.

Not to ruin the episode if you haven’t watched it yet. But I will share a dialogue with you all:

Previously on Desperate Housewives,

Lynette: Hey (waking Tom from his slumber)! You gonna be late for class
Tom: (Surprisingly) Dad?
Lynette: All my clothes are too tight. I have to borrow yours.
Tom: I was going to wear that shirt today.
Lynette: Well, when you are hiding your 4 month of pregancy with  twin, then you can have it back
What do you think?
Tom: I’m still attracted to you in men’s clothes. Is that weird?jphan-desperatehousewife-lynette-002jphan-desperatehousewife-lynette-005

SCORRRRRREEEEE!!! See ladies, you can win his heart even after you’re married. Your significant other(s) thinks it’s attactive – even if you are 4 months pregnant! lol

(Lynette continues talking about her deal at work. And the conversation ends like this:)
Lynette: now wish me luck
Tom: …good luck. Now come here mister. I want to kiss ya. (You’re going to have to watch it, to catch his sensual tone).
Lynette: okay now it’s weird

The next day, she wore this stunningly bold outfit to work – trying to hide her pregnant belly lump from her boss Carlos in order to protect a promotion. What’s a better way to portray her character of being the independent, hard-working wife, then wearing her husband’s clothes? As well, if you are gaining that few extra weight or if you’re 4 months pregnant with twins -  save that cash and borrow his clothes for your Monday – Friday work attire. Rock it boldly!
