Oh you know it!

Alright, alright I know I posted a DIY bowtie ring project last week, but bowties are really really growing on me! I did some research and it’s been slowly becoming a fad in women’s fashion! From amazingly classy and elegant to incredibly fierce, the bow tie can cover many styles–case in point:

Karl Lagerfeld (Chanel) and Ralph Lauren incorporated  bowties in their past collections.

These Harajuku girls added an eclectic schoolgirl touch by adding bowties.

Now, with the use of white t-shirt, lots of bow-ties, and even getting inspiration from different designers, I’m going to combine both of these looks to make something look cute, classy, and a little spunky…

VOILA!!!

(I apologize for the poor resolution, I took these pictures from my webcam! Not to worry though! I will post better ones very soon! Perhaps even replace this one :) .)

Remember how I taught you all how to make bowties? Well, it’s pretty much the same principle, but instead it’s added on to a shirt I cut up. Here is a link to one of  Jackie’s “Chronicles of the Graphic Tee” entries so you can get an idea on how to cut up a white t-shirt.

Alrighty, now that you’ve been fully educated on the possibilities when it comes to accessorizing with bowties, I suggest you try experimenting with bowties yourself!
