Ahoy there, my boyfriend fashion lovers!
For the past month, I spent hours and hours of online window shopping and mall trips to help me visualize 6 outfits, while Agnes helped finalizing them and took care of all the accessories for a photo shoot that occurred last weekend. The photo shoot was coordinated by JJ Casas, who contacted with us after I contacted him for his high res photos from the USF Tri-Gamma Nursing Sorority Fashion Show for Kristina Bautista of Metro News who wanted his photos to aid “What’s His Is Her” story.

“The photo shoot titled John and Jane that features MotionScope Studies stylist Jane Park. The concept of the shoot is to depict the classic boy meets girl story using one person–Jane. Meaning, from a fashion standpoint, it’s going to be an androgynous shoot.” – JJ Casas, Photoshoot: “John and Jane” (San Francisco, 07/24/10)
This had to be one of the best collaboration that I have ever experienced, perhaps because JJ was always ahead of the game with communication and organization. With his professionalism, we were able to work well as a team.
Let’s give credits to:
Jane Park (Model)
Karen Wan (Make-up Artist)
John Enriquez (Photographer’s Assistant 1)
Rina Pera (Photographer’s Assistant 2)
Nicole Velazco (Documentary Photographer)
Agnes Fernandez and I (Stylist)
Tristan Orlino (Stylist’s assistant) <–A big thanks to Tristan for also letting us borrow your clothes!
And, of course, JJ Casas (Photographer and coordinator)
Now, here’s some behind the scenes photos:

Karen doing Jane’s makeup for the first scene where she is playing the role of “John”, while I worked on her hair.

Agnes and I looking over the outfits we had planned.

At our second scene at Dolores Park, where Jane plays the role of a girl.

Jane in the third scene behind the Contemporary Jewish Museum. (Left to right: Jane, JJ, John, Nicole)

A group photo, with just about everyone, except from Agnes and I. (Left to right: Tristan, Karen, Nicole, JJ, Jane, John, Rina)
Last but not least, here’s a super sneak preview of Jane’s outfit for one scene.
(Can you believe this is a completely raw image?)
Stay tuned for all the final photos!
Raid & Create,
Jessica
