Hi guys! Long time no post! Like maybe almost a year. Sorry. =(
But I finally got inspired to do something because it’s now or never. I start law school in 3 days, so how do I prepare? Alter clothes duh!
So I took my boyfriend’s shirt that is an XL (The dude’s a medium, this was back in the day when he used to sag and stuff. Thank God that has passed) and cut it up a bit. Sweet graphic right?
Take a shirt that fits you well and use it as a template. Cut, pin, sew, and trim.
It should be like a slim 3/4 sleeve shirt. You can stop here if that’s all you want too. I was tempted, but I went forward. On we go!
Cut the back and all away around the crew neck. Kind of looks like a jacket right? Another idea if you want.
Roll and pin, and sew this all up.
Make two straps for the back.
Pin them in the back and stitch.
And there you go! A mullet shirt, because it’s business in the front, but a damn fun party in the back.
